AVIS, der Verband der italienischen freiwillige Blutspendender in Mailand, ist verpflichtet, alle Regeln und Vorschriften einzuhalten, die durch die Gesundheitsakkreditierung (nationale und europäische Normen), gute Praktiken im Arzneimittelsektor, Arbeitssicherheit, ISO 9000:2015 (Qualität), Datenschutz, Datensicherheit und Computersicherheit (GDPR) gefordert werden.

Sie hat die digitale Plattform als ideales Werkzeug erkannt, um in einem einzigen System alle Anforderungen zu verwalten sowie alle Mitarbeiter aktiv und vorschriftskonform bei der täglichen Arbeit einzubeziehen und zu unterstützen. Dieselben Personen, Geräte und Prozesse sind an den verschiedenen Überwachungsinhalten mit einbezogen, daher war es wichtig Redundanzen zu vermeiden und Datenverarbeitung sowie die Sicherheit der Aktualisierung zu gewährleisten.

Die klare und logische Struktur der Plattform, welche strukturelle Inhalte wie z. B. generische Prozesse und Risikobewertungskataloge anbietet, ermöglichte es AVIS, sofort operativ zu sein. Nach 5 Tagen Training und nur 3 Wochen (8 Stunden/Tag) Anpassung ist die Plattform im Einsatz und wächst Tag für Tag nach dem Prozess der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung.

Das Wissen innerhalb von AVIS-Milano über das “Wie”, “Warum” und “Was die Regeln sind”, steht Führungskräften und Mitarbeitern nun auf individueller Ebene zur Verfügung, und zwar über einen für jede Rolle und jeden Arbeitsplatz maßgeschneiderten Arbeitsplatz (Dashboard), der es den Mitarbeitern ermöglicht, mit einem einfachen Klick eine rechtskonforme Antwort auf ihre Frage zu erhalten. Dies alles entsprechend den zugewiesenen Aufgaben und auf der Grundlage des “Wissensbedarfs” jeder Person, so dass alle notwendigen Anforderungen transparent werden und durch das Unternehmen in eine leicht zugängliche Ressourcenquelle geleitet werden.

PROMIS@Service has entered in alliance with, and in solidarity to the “Millennia2025 Solidarity-Women” action developed by the Millennia2025 Women and Innovation Foundation (PUF), sharing the WePROMIS® eMentoring platform to support and advise women in precarious situations among others, through eSkills. The Millennia2015 community counts 1.505 contributors in its Think Tank, 3.827 members and 10.299 contacts in 133 countries or regions in February 2014. Key values of the Millennia2015 “An action plan for women’s empowerment” (www.millennia2015.org), organized by The Destree Institute with the patronage of UNESCO and the United Nations, are the equality between women and men, the respect of rights and diversity, the development of the human capital and the digital solidarity in order to empower women. The Millennia2015 process, built with its international partners, is structured through three phases: “Information transfer”, “Knowledge process” and “Intelligence platforms”. The Millennia2015 foresight research process acts in a view of digital solidarity with those who do not access communications tools and who nevertheless are drivers of changes. With WePROMIS® as eSkill enabler instrument, the alliance between PROMIS@Service and the Millennia2025 Women and Innovation Foundation objective is to achieve these concrete actions and action plans in favor of women and girls in the concerned countries, for their empowerment and for gender equality.

Managing the maintenance process within Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) often entails high direct and indirect costs. Now they can benefit from a new software solution helping them to develop their maintenance processes.

Especially during periods of economical and financial crisis, SMEs do not invest in improving and re-engineering their Maintenance Engineering Processes (MEP), thus leading to additional productive and economical losses. In order to make the MEP sustainable for SMEs, it is necessary to implement new organizational models by adopting innovative solutions. (…)

Europe goes Cloud – Digital Jobs for Europe

Aktuellen Studien zufolge sind fast 27 Millionen Menschen in der EU ohne Arbeit. Die Kluft in Sachen Beschäftigung in den Ländern der Euro-Zone ist groß. Ist man nun bereit, der These zu folgen, dass durch IT-Trends wie Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobility oder auch Social Business der Bedarf an digitalen Arbeitsplätzen um mehr als 100.000 pro Jahr ansteigt, so erwächst dadurch eine enorme Chance für den europäischen Arbeitsmarkt.

Wunsch und Wirklichkeit liegen bis heute aber länderübergreifend noch weit auseinander. Geht es um IT-nahe Berufe, so sinkt die Zahl der entsprechenden Hochschulabsolventen. Hinzu kommt der Renteneintritt vieler IT-Fachkräfte heute und in den nächsten Jahren.

Die Große Koalition für digitale Arbeitsplätze ist ein Beitrag der Europäischen Kommission dazu, die europäische Wirtschaft wieder auf Kurs zu bringen. Teil dieser Initiative sind zum Beispiel Ausbildungsmaßnahmen und „Skills Matching“ mit führenden IT-Unternehmen in Europa, ein gemeinsames EU-Zertifizierungssystem für IT-Kenntnisse sowie die Einrichtung und Finanzierung von Unterstützungsdiensten für Informatiker. Europas IT-Unternehmen, Regierungen sowie Aus- und Weiterbildungseinrichtungen sind ausdrücklich aufgerufen, Flagge zu zeigen und aktiv zu werden, damit bis 2015 in Europa so viele IT-Arbeitsplätze wie möglich besetzt werden.

CEN has recently established a new Workshop on “Terminology Policy to Support Generic Applications of Management Systems with focus on Smaller Organisations in a Multilingual Environment”. The project kick-off meeting took place in Brussels on 29 and 39 July in Brussels.

The main purpose of the project is to develop a CWA integrating the results of the EU research project PROMISLingua and to explain the methodology of the project for ease of application of management systems in smaller organisations. The target stakeholders are Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that are now facing steadily increasing requirements from standards and regulations related to environmental, quality performance, health&safety and other regulatory issues at local, national and international levels. Currently, SMEs cannot afford appropriate personnel and financial resources to cope efficiently with these demands and they need tailored business services to help them overcome the challenging requirements of effectively and safely operating their on-going activities.

The CIP-PSP research project PROMISLingua (Performance Operational and Multilingual Interactive Services to support Compliance for SMEs in Europe) aims at facilitating SMEs’ access to tailored information and advice on legislation, standardisation and the integrated application of management systems. This project envisages translating, localising and rolling out the existing PROMIS online service in order to deliver a cost-efficient and easy-to-use Internet based service at the service of SMEs in Europe.

The CEN Workshop Agreement, based on PROMISLingua project, will provide additional guidance on the systematic and structured use of terms and definitions implicitly or explicitly specified, both established or emerging, in various standards and regulations embedded in a multilingual environment. Among the specific aspects to be covered in this reference document is a stable terminology system that presents and applies vocabularies references for terminology management and workflow with a methodology to organise a translation service for terms and definitions.
